Christ-Centered Disaster Response: We want to thank the Lord for enabling us to participate in the disaster relief and rehabilitation of people in the areas devastated by Typhoon Haiyan (locally named Yolanda) in the Philippines through the pastors in the area.
Eighty seven (87) young men and women graduated March, 2015 from the Lord Immanuel Institute Foundation, Inc. (LIIFI), a non-sectarian Christian secondary school in the town of Lobo, province of Batangas, and 94 miles south of Manila. This was established by our ministry in 2001as a Christ-centered disciple-making community empowered only by the Holy Spirit and is impacting students, alumni, staff, their families, the community and internationally as the alumni fan out to different parts of the world.
Ministry and Prayer Partners: “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matthew 9:37, 38)
The Lord of the harvest has been so faithful to thrust forth laborers into His harvest. We want to thank the Lord for those who go, send, support, and pray for the ministry the Lord gave us, for the local pastors and spiritual leaders who partner with us in many countries. Various ministries partner with us in our work with young people such as Common Ground and King's Kids to mobilize students and staff for prayer, fasting, revival and transformation in campuses in the Philippines. Apostolic networks are also provided globally through Korean Diaspora which brings together different missionaries all over the world through forums and media. For the Typhoon Haiyan relief and disaster movement, we partnered with the "Operation Kabalikat" headed by Bishop Dante Veluz and local pastors in the affected regions of the Philippines. We thank the King's Kids Christian Academy of Batangas City, Philippines led by Pastor/President Dr. Yong Dol Lee for their support and partnership in management and ministry to the LIIFI and its community.
Spirit-Filled Home Church Fellowships gather regularly in Los Angeles. Salvation, healings, restoration, deliverance are common occurrences as the Lord ministers to His people through His people under open heavens. We encourage everyone to make their home a place where people encounter God as they gather together to pray, worship, share God’s word together, and be equipped for missions. Water baptisms regularly occur in our bathtub at home. Start gathering with your family and friends regularly in Christ-centered fellowships.
Marketplace Ministry: God has given us favor with people in our medical practice. We thank Him for using it to reach out with the love of Jesus to people who need more than physical healing. Following the leading of the Holy Spirit, the same thing that is happening in our Spirit-filled home church fellowships is happening in our medical office, at the patient's bedside, and other places in the hospital. Our ministry distributes The Daily Bread, a quarterly devotional, to 3 hospitals in the area. Praise the Lord! Please pray that your work be your worship and your workplace be your mission field.
Media Ministry: God amazes us as He uses our humble ministry to reach out to so many people all over the world through social media like Facebook (Paul Yoo; Elizabeth Z. Yoo; Lobo International Institute Foundation, Inc.), and our simple inexpensive homegrown websites: http://NVMIministries.com and the LIIFI website, www.lordimmanuel.com.
World Missions: The Lord continues to open doors for global-equipping of spiritual leaders in Total Healing in Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Cambodia, Philippines, Central America, United States, and Korea where Pastor Paul conducted training during the previous years.
Truly, we are astounded that God would give us the privilege of participating with Him in what He is doing all over the world. Thank you for all your prayers.
In His Majesty’s Royal Service,
Pastor Paul and Elizabeth Yoo
